Yes the wall is not going to collapse

. I pi.ed up some rocks that were constanty falling and added sand in betwees. So all that is covered in sand is immobile and will not be moves. It will support the weight of 3 3" turtles 4 sure

the only thing is it takes up a decent amount of swimming room

Yeah it does, but i think it is still a great feature to have. But if it were abit higher and less legnthy then in a 75 gal it would be a great way to recreate rocky/sandy beaches.
