I like your setup, but I have a dumb question, do those thermometers work out of water?

Yup! If i remember correctly i picked it up in the area where the lizard thermometers, lights, etc, are.

Ok, just didn't see a temp registered and I've only used liquid crystal thermometers for water temp.

One of my turtle's name is Fred as well! I thought he looked like a grumpy old man, so... Fred Mertz and his lady Ethel

Lol The name Fred just seems to fit a turtle! I took the pic with my phone and when the temp reaches 90 the thermometer turns blue which is probably why it didnt show up.

Kudos to you kmichael on two turts! I couldnt imagine! lol especially grumpy ones :p
