tiny turtles: they can fly

I think it's impossible to not say "awwww" they're just so ridiculously cute XD
I use my roommate's super awesome nikon camera to take these close up pics. I sort of stand over their bin and zoom waaaay in and then use the manual focus. it's a process and i have to take like fifty pictures to get a few good ones, but i think it's fun.

they're actually on a tiny turtle vacation right now. they've been at my parents' house since the 15th cos I have to keep going back and forth for doctors' appointments and stuff. I didn't want to transport them like six times.

There are never too many pics! You babies are adorable... It's been 18 years since my Trevor was that tiny, lol. I too wish I'd taken more pics of him back then...I'm sure there are some in a box at my parents house, from the years before digital cameras! I just have no idea where...

@bugbug: hahaha thanks. i had to pretty much redo my entire wardrobe. i figured if i have to buy new clothes, they might as well look nice XD

yeah, i don't think my turtles understand being held yet. like, they almost understand that i'm not going to eat them, but they forget sometimes.

it's gonna be so crazy when mine are finally not the size of a fun-sized candy bar. i can't picture them as not babies XD
also, i love how these are like life-long pets, but they don't get to be 200 years old like tortoises
