And don't worry, I no longer have gravel in his tank.. I replaced it with large river rocks!

Well i'm pretty sure he is a male as he does the fluttering thing. Or do females do the same thing?
Also the opening at his tail is pretty faraway from the base of his tail heres a pic of him

Sorry about the unclear pics, Shadow just wouldn't stay still :(
I'll also try to take pics of his claw if i can

Well, i'm not so sure as my other turtle who is about 3.34 inches has a tail thats much smaller, and its claws are also not as long.
One additional info is that my turtle is only less than a year old but is already 3.5inch, when i got him he was 2 inches and had a little shell curling. It was only later on that i found out his previous owner ( my friend who did not want it anymore) had been feeding it random amounts of food anytime he walks by the tank :( he tells me that usually my turtle would be fed 3-6 times under his care. I only had him for about 4 months, his previous owner had him for about 6 months i think. And so I think that is why his growth rate is so high. Anyway the obvious sign to tell if its male or female would only appear when he's about 4 inches right?
Really hoping his a male, not sure if i would be able to house two adult females

2 females would have a much better chance of getting along. A male and female will most likely have to be separated.

You will have to get a large tank rather its male or female any way. And yes, females do the fluttering thing also. Its also a sign of dominance

I knew that from the start, but i live in Singapore, and so large tanks are not so common around here, the biggest i can get is about a 75 gallons enough to hold a male. Thats the problem :(

75 gallons is not too bad. Also look into preformed ponds and maybe even custom tanks that might be cheap in Singapore.
