My friend, Matteo, is over my apartment fairly often. The turtles have seen him quite a few times, and they've bit at his fingers. But he never really touched them or anything so I told him he could while I cleaned their bin. They seemed to like him a lot. Probably because he is really warm.

hahaha ya! was new adventure. I'm glad my turtles are getting so friendly. They used to be absolutely terrified of everything.

I brought my turtles to my parents' house for Thanskgiving break. My parents and my sister fell in love with them. My dad fed them a few times and he thought it was the coolest thing ever. My sister has been wanting a tortoise or a turtle forever so she was really happy they were there. When I changed the water I let her play with them. Both of the turtles are so good with people now!! They don't get all stressed out or anything! They seem to like people. Anyway, here are some pictures of my sister and the turtles.

lol I just saw it and I didn't see the small part of his shell that was visible and started laughing my [---] off lol they're very cute btw my little guy is still extremely skittish... Any tips on how to get them used to people quicker? I would to be able to walk in my room and not have him go psycho and dive under the log in his tank lol

i hold them every time i change the water. and sometimes i just hold them for no reason. get them used to how you smell. i also have them right next to my bed and laptop so they see me all the time. i found that before they really knew anyone other than me, if i had the person like rub their hands on my head or face to kind of get my smell on them they'd be more comfortable with the other person
