These are my three turtles. They are awesome little guys and are well taken care of. There names are Hippo, Petunia and Gator.

I love their markings on their plastrons. Super adorable.

Ironically that is how I tell them apart lol. All though I can tell from just picking one up who is who now. It really is exciting getting to know these turtles. I just got a alligator snapping turtle in a separate tank (duh), And the turtle is just interesting. It is Awesome to be able to keep them.

cool pics, that one in the middle is looking pretty brave for such a little turtle! and their tank is huge, looks like they have tons of room to explore.

Well I originally had a six inch red slider in there. She was given to me as a birthday gift and was from the wild. Was supposedly a rescue from a dog attack. She was very aggressive towards everything especially people. My friend has a 45 gallon tank and had some sort of other type of water that choked on a fish that was not meant for him to eat. He asked if he could have my 6 inch RES and my wife wanted hatchlings to try to raise to be a bit friendly. They are much more friendly then I was expecting.

Anyways the bigger tank was originally for her. Now the hatchlings have too much room. lol

And the one in the middle is definitely the bravest of the bunch. That would be the lovely petunia.

So cute!!! Though I wish my res was small enough to use store-bought basking docks XD She's pretty big so she keeps falling off them I love baby turtles though! They're cute and adorable no matter what way you look at them! And they have a nice big tank! Can't wait to see the finished product of your decorating ^^

Thanks guys. The turtles are happy. And just got to the point that they are all eating consistently It is quite a relief to see them doing so I might add.

On a side note, I got my Alligator snapping turtle eating as well.

They literally are a handful Those markings are unique "fingerprints". They will fade and turn blotchy quickly though.

That's for sure! Touche's markings looks like someone spilled black paint down the center of her underside, but when she was a baby they were beautiful.
