She spent most of her time going back and forth a run of no more than 5 m, and pretty much every time she had to walk over this spade.

Stopped here to scratch her shell.

Her scutes are getting loose right now, and she's been shedding the plastron scutes, and I noticed a marginal scute is gone too. It's great that they're coming off on their own now.
My kitty Smudge isn't too sure about her. He sniffed her, but when she moved she startled him. He wasn't sure he liked her around his secret hiding place (ie under the patio table), but didn't know what to do about it.

We've got a pair of jays that live in the neighbourhood, who are quite brave. They'll come within a meter or two of you and hop around. This one was right outside the back door just before I brought Frankie outside.

And this was a cute looking birdy sitting on the raspberry bush while I was out supervising Frankie.
