Hey guys I took in two baby turtles they are the size of a quarter. When the person from craigslist gave them to me she had them in this small critter container with an inch of water . They were a little pale and one looked like it might have RI. So I have them in a seperate set up from butter until they get better. Here it is. After a only a few days of being in their the one I thought might have RI cause he was floating funny is now swimming just fine and they started eating and basking . You can see it in the pics but they have glow in the dark plants.

Hey guys I rescued these little guys. And was amazed when I saw what they were kept in for 2 weeks and how small. They were in a very small critter container with like an inch of water, and when I filled the container with more water one kinda floated sideways and would never swim under water. and the other one would just sit on the bottom. But now I have them in a big rubbermaid container with a filter , sand, big rocks some glow in the dark plants a uva light and uvb light and a turtle dock. They have been in there just a few days now and they are both swimming like pros, they are eating their color isnt as pale they bask on top of each other with their little feet out like superman and . And sleep right next to each other hanging on to their lettuce.

she bought them from china town and they told her that they wont grow, they only need about an inch of water and feed two pellets twice a week, and dont need lighting and very low cost to take care of. And she found out what they really needed and what they were like and knew she couldnt provide that. So she said i want to give them to someone who will care for them right and know about how to take care of them

Well, you have a good heart for taking them in. I just hope taking care of three turts won't be a problem for you again... Considering you started out with three. Keep in mind aggression might eventually be a problem again too. That's just something you can't avoid with multiple turts unfortunately.

the tank and tub were about the same size i did that cause the tub was starting to bow and plus i like the look of them in the tank instead of the tub
