Skipperdee likes to chill on his pinnapple as much as he likes to chill inside..actually he's sleeping wedged between the pinnapple and the tank wall right now..don't know why he does it but he does it often..I think its a lazy way of stayin in the water and not having to work too hard for air..its cute tho..

He's very cute. Be super cautious about where he squeezes into. RES love to go into tight spaces, which can be very dangerous for them.

Yeah I have been had to move his pinnaple once alreay.. had it by the thermometer and i t looked like he was having trouble getting out maybe I should just move it away from the wall too just to be safe..although he seems to not have any prob getting out from there..I've been watching him alll day...a new fav past time..trying to get him used to seeing me in the room...he loves his pinnapple...goes in there and hoversand even goes to all the windows and looks out ..I tried to get the pic but by the time I got the camera he moved on to the next  ...can't wait till tomrrow tho tank cleaning day and dang does it need it to..gave him a scrub with the toothbbrush today...and freaked out when I noticed that his marginal scutes weren't hard like the rest of his shell...went right to the forums to see if there was any info...was relieved to find that its normal for them to be soft till they are at least a year old or so..thought the worst at first, but am much better now I have one question tho when the cuttle bone sinks to the bot of tank should I take it ut and let it dry or is it ok to leave in tank? I chunked the thing into pieces small enugh for him to maybe wrestle with and have a lot still. So it wouldn't be a prob to take it out and put new ones in..I just thought they were supposed to float..and they did for a couple of days..

I just leave it in there. He doesn't seem to care if it is waterlogged or not.
