i was just wondering if Steve might consider putting stickys up for diff. turtle things like a sticky for basking dock ideas and tank setups and ponds because new people looking for ideas might find it easier to just open up a topic and c some of the interesting ideas people have what do u guys think?

If people want to submit pics of their basking area, I'd be happy to make it a sticky. While they're at it, they can submit pics to the photo contest

yea cause i think it would help if ppl r lookin for ideas of how 2 setup their tank they can just look it up real quick instead of makin post after post on how to create a basking area or other stuff

yea now if that was a sticky i would have saw it first thats my point so new members can c the same ideas no matter how long after the post was made that they joined

Well, if people want to send pics (and a description of the materials) let me know. I could make a new topic (locked and sticky) to showcase unique and individual basking areas.

That would be a really good idea. That way everyone could see different ideas of tank setups and basking areas. I know i'm in need of some new basking area ideas myself!!

also should we just pm u our basking ideas? my setup is just a basic zoo-med turtle dock so i dnt think u want 2 get flooded with those but i could send u pics anyway if you wanted 2 make a tank setup sticky

You're right about commercial docks... you can get those off of other sites. However, if you have it setup in an interesting way, we can post it in the sticky (or on the main site gallery). If there any other DIY projects, I'd like to hear about it as well. Thanks for all the interest!
