With all the wiring so close to water, it would be good if you raised the power strip all those plugs are in and created drip loops for the plugs (have the wires going down to the floor and then up to where they're plugged in). That way, if water happens to get on the wires it wouldn't be able to roll down into the sockets. I have some of mine on step stools for this purpose.

Just think, where would we be without electricity?? I'm glad I didn't have my turts two winters ago. We lost power for 9 days during an ice storm. When the power came back on, it fried the circuit box and blew the cover off of it. Scary deal. Fried a few other things too, major appliances. I can't imagine what would have happened to the turtles.
