yes, i noticed that the film disappears when i swish the water around. curious though, is "probiotic" some kind of chemical that you put in the tank or is it already chemically on the filter pads?
anyway, i've angled the filter intake towards the surface but my ninja likes to climb/rest on top of the filter and knocks the filter off the suctions. he might be chasing after the algae fish but he didnt eat it; maybe he's just curious?? (i dont think ninja can swallow the algae fish, maybe the tail but not the algae fish's head.) i still have two feeder fish in my tank but ninja is too lazy to chase after them. he waits for them to swim in his face and then he snatches at it!
