In consideration of the people on here who are not professional photographer, people who enjoy taking snap shots of their turts, turning off the flash is mostly likely resulting in blurry photos. Because these people don't have the experience of others, they may not know how to correctly set their cameras, thus holding it still, using a tripod, or other means of balance, is a good option for better results...even if they aren't perfect.

LOL! It's not your fault, no need to apologize. Just a difference of opinions.

Missi- flash really hasn't anything to do with blur- I think that's your
imagination.[/quote]

I took photo for two years, flash stops action.

Which is why when you turn the flash off, there is more cause for blur...

I should post some pics that my father took of a merry go round. They are taken without the flash to intentionally cause the blur.

The blur is only in the movement part of the picture, but, if he had moved the camera at all, the whole picture would have been blurry.

I did the same thing with a merry go round at the zoo they turned out really cool looking. The blurr motion can be super radddd when used properly. Has your father tried zoom blurr its can also be realy cool.

I know that with my old digital camera, if you turned the flash off, the pics came out blurry. So I don't really think it's Missi's imagination.

Yeah, it's best to just forgive and forget sometimes and different people have different point of views.

My father is a photographer...I think I know what I'm talking about.

Actually the flash helps when taking a picture and reducing the blur. Without the flash if the enviornment is too dark the shutter is opened for longer thus increasing the chance that yoru picture will be blurred if the camera is moved. What I do is take my pictures with my camcorder. It has a light on it so i turn the light on and take the pictures, but I find that I like the pictures without the light. Depending on the picture you taking, the light makes it come out better.

This one was taken with the light on my camcorder. I think Kaylee is a model, she was all into taking pictures.
