The other day while cleaning out there tank I thought they might like to have some natural sunlight so I put them into a big plastic storage container with some water in it and they had lots of fun!!!!

They are so cute. Just keep an eye on them if you are keeping them together. The bigger one may hurt the little one.

I'm sure they love all that sunlight.

The container in the 2nd pic is not good to use at all. The one on the bottom is much better, though they should get some shade and you should have a thermometer in there to monitor the temps.

And as CountryGirl pointed out, the size difference is enough to get me worried. It won't take much longer for him to get bigger so I would opt to keep them apart for now. In fact, that container in the bottom pic could serve as a temporary tank.

The little container was just me moving them from the tank to outside. And about there size difference I watch them a lot and Mrytle the bigger one never show any signs of aggression. He even helps break up some of the bigger pieces of food for the little one. There so much fun! Thanks for the comments!

That's so cute, I do the same thing with Mr. T... I put him in a storage container outside for about an hour every other day. How was it like introducing them? I was thinking about getting another turtle but didn't know if my guy would accept a friend.

Well I didnt know I was getting the little one till I bought him and then I was like dang I dont know if I want to put them together, so my boyfriend and I took him home and put him in with Mrytle and watched them for a good hour. We feed them turned the basking light on and then the little one climbed up on Mrytles back, and Mrytle was breaking up food for the little guy it was so cute! Mrytle treats the little one like it is his baby!
