Raff Went from 10 gallons of nothing to a pond in my living room
Now here is his new home

Raffs new home is a 90 gallon aquarium with a cascade 1500 series canister filter.. UVB/UVA light with a brand new heater and custom made dock... I added a under water bubble river and plants to kinda hide the hoses and stuff and try and make it pretty..[/b]

may i ask how did u build that basking dock/ramp?
1 RES- Bought for 10$ at Florida,Orlando

Out of PVC pipe like many others here.. But instead of building platform inside tank we made it so it hooks on the outside of the tank

it is about 6 feet of PVC used and 10 PVC elbows plus a piece of plexie glass I already had and turtle carpet covering all the plexie and edges
whole project cost about $9.00

In that first pic it looks as though he can pull him-self over the top and escape! Is this true? If not, how are you preventing him from doing so?

THAT'S the kind of basking area I want to build for my Tanner!! Great job!!
