I have been experimenting, and I think the turtles really like the tank this way... They seem more comfortable. :) They have a 75 gallon tank, 2 basking docks, and a floating log at room temp, ceramic heater bulb over one platform, a basking spot lamp over the other, (both stay about 90), reptisun 10.0 UVB bulb, a 250 watt stealth heater, a tank legnth bubble wand, river rocks, live and fake plants, 2 caves to hide in, an XP3 filter, and 2 water and 4 air temp thermometers. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

Isn't his shell pyramiding? Is he being overfed? Just curious. Shell looks good though.

Thanks Everyone! I hope the turtles are in heaven! Orphaned, I don't think they are pyramiding, the vet said they looked great a week ago. I hope I am not over feeding them, but I may be a little off on how much would fill a turtle's head? It may just be the angle I took the picture at... camera adds a few pounds, or grams in this case? They weigh in at 17 and 19 grams, which the vet was happy with for 5 month old turtles.

Scripta, I don't see any pyramiding either especially when you compare it to other pictures. I love the pic of the turtle sleeping.. I wish I could sleep that well.

Thanksall! Flutterby, I wish I could sleep like that too! He gets so relaxed sometimes that he totally ignores me! I love it when he has a foot hanging over the dock! Like he was going to superman, but was just too relaxed.
