I finely was able to get some semi-clear pics of my set up and RES. :D

Set up. Rocks are very stable and are much to big for them to move.
I had the smaller rocks around the filter on the left but as you can see
my turts did not agree.
Image

This is Tank(bottom) and Diesel(top).
As you can see it is time for a tank cleaning. :)

This is Tank standing proud.

And up for a breath.

This is Diesel playing with the white rock.

Peak-A-Boo.

Say bye! (tank on left and Diesel on right)

Wow these pics are big. Give me a sec and I will resize them.
EDIT: There we go, sorry about that.

Looks good. The only thing I would add is that if your UVB is the tube bulb, then you should slide it down so that it is over the basking area. You're little guys are such cuties!

It is a UVB bulb, but I got that before I knew that water, and screening with holes lest them 1/2" will filter out the UVB. So right now that is just used to see them while they are swimming. The one in the clamp light is a T-rex active UV heat bulb that gives off both UVA and UVB. :)

Sounds like me. I bought a smaller hood for one of my tanks, and when I upgraded it came with a bigger hood. So now my fish have UVB light. Figured I might as well use the darn thing. The new hood take two tube bulbs, so I save my old UVB's to use on the other side, since they don't bask on that side it isn't an issue.

I plan on using all of my life savings on there next setup(hopefully one that will last them and me a lifetime!). It is going to be THE BEST indoor tank setup for my two RES, and fully separate-able(Two of everything in a mirror image type setup!!) I am hoping to get a brand-new 5' by 3' by 3' 340 gal all glass aquarium, but this is far off. I can't seem to save much money with the bills and all.
