My husband was going to make an elaborate basking dock for Zeke, but decided to wait until he gets his larger tank, so he improvised. We took a rubbermade storage container cut down part of the side and heated it so it would bend down as the ramp, then glued popcicle sticks for grips, and cut lids from dollar store storage containers for the side of the ramp to prevent Zeke's escape. It has a lid with a hole cut for the lamp cause Zeke is my little escape artist! It is above the tank so he now has about 29 gallons of water for his swimming pleasure! Anyways Here it is!

Doesn't he look so happy? He has a basking dock that fits and he has room to move around in it.

He spent a good hour in there this morning. Very content little boy!

Thanks! I think so too! He loves it, and the temp is the same around 90ish so not getting too hot with the lid on.

Thank-you. We are going to add some reptile carpet for traction for Zeke to the flat part. He is on/in it a lot more than he was his floating dock. Which is good for his shell.

yeh, i wish my 2 little ones would go inside my new bask area, the furthest they have gotten is to the top of the ramp, and not an inch further
