Hi! I am new to turtles, just got them today from the "EVIL SITE" (did not know prior to ordering). So here they are, they are 2 baby RES in a 20 gallon tank, also I have a large western in there to, however, he/she will be transfered into a pond when it is done. They seem to get along well together, the little ones sit on the bigger one's back :D . Also the filter, heater, lights was not on it when I snapped the picture, but are on there now.

All comments welcomed, thanks and I am glad to be on the board!

p.s. I have a basking platform ordered, just has not got here yet, so I improvised with what I had. IT works.

Cute, but just to let you know. The bigger one will likely hurt the little one eventually whether they're friendly or not. You should separate them ASAP.

Nice looking turtles. How soon before your pond is ready? Because that tank is way too small for the larger turtle.

Looks cute! Do they actually get up on the 'dock'? Be careful with the bigger turtle, they have been known to hurt baby turtles.

It would be good to keep the hatchlings separate until they're is approximately the same size as the larger turtle. Hope the pond is large enough for all of them.

only the western painted is going to a pond, not the res turtles. So far they have gotten along well and are eating.

yes it is. The little ones have been on it. IT is out of the tank now, at the time, only thing I had around for them to bask on.
