This is my Cortez... he is so cute! This is him walking around my room discovering new and exciting things. He is three years old, and he is spoiled! But he is loved by all!

What size is cortez?? From the looks of the nails it looks like you have a girl not a boy :) Nice looking turtle ... lol both of them :)

Cortez (or Cortezerina) is a real beauty! That shell looks like mahogany.

OMG! Do you all really think its a girl! I thought Cortez was a boy this whole time! I have seen femal RES and their nails always look like nubs! I will get a picture of the tail soon so you all can tell me for sure!

Compared to my male's front toenails, your turt's front toenails are nubs!

Here's some pictures of a male with pretty good front toenails. Not to brag, but my male's front toenails are even longer!
