Photo Gallery :: tank setup 30 gallon

Here are pictures of my 30 gallon tank setup. Please tell me any suggestions you have , cause it looks a little plain.


I do have a uvb bulb but I do not have another clamp lamp or a spot to put it on his basking spot so I am ordering a clamp lamp and a turtle dock so i can have both lights up there.

here is a picture of his basking spot I made it myself and it fits perfectly in the crease of the tank, and I have the clamp lamp screwed into the basking so the light doest fall into the water which has happened one time before the light fell in and just popped and I though the turtle was dead but it had no affect on the turtle.

and this is a picture of the filter one is just a hang on filter and the other one is an underwater filter that has a air pump hooked up to it so it circulates air all in the tank.

And here is a picture of my lazy turtle who still doesnt have a name.

I am also gonna buy some live plants to put in there for decoration and for him to eat.

The pics are a little small and light to see really well. Do you have a shot of the whole tank? Plants/greenery can add a lot to the look of a tank. If your turtle eats them be prepared for a mess, though.
