Hey everyone! Well, yesterday i found out for certian that my turtles are both female, so i figured id post some pictures to show of my girls! Enjoy!

Oh my gosh, they look like best friends in the 3rd & 4th pic!!! So adorable!!! Very happy looking kids! Nice job!

Awww your girls look so happy... It makes me think about getting another turtle... but I am not sure they will get along... Do you think it would be better if I got another girl?

JELslider, your Cortez is a pretty good size and such a beautiful girl too! I would just stick with her for now. Especially since you just upgraded to that new tank. Trust me, she will be much happier by herself. She has lived this long and is so healthy, that I wouldn't rock the boat by getting her a shelled-friend. YOU are her friend! :)

If you feel you want to make her even happier, just spend more time with her, holding her, letting her out a bit, crawling around on the floor with her. She's so cute.....I know she would love to play turtle games with you outside her tank.
