That's a very cute turtle you have there, the markings on the plastron are what caught my eye.

Good to see that home is labelled "temporary" too, I didn't see that the first time, ;)

I myself am glad the enclosure is only "temporary" too.Cute turtle! Update us soon when you get him a proper enclosure!

You might want to use a smaller basking platform since he's in such a small tank. Are you sure the tank isn't overheating?

I would think that it would easily overheat. The heat from the light is being trapped in such a small area. Do you have a thermometer? I would check often. Overheating could easily kill your little guy.

He sure is cute though! :D
