what a beautiful little turtle! I love her plastron! I love the colors in your tank, too!

When you say you're using rocks for a bathing area, I assume you mean sun-bathing? All the plants on the rocks are beautiful, but is there room for your little guy to get up there and bask? Does he bask? I can't quite tell what's in the tank - are there a filter and heater?

I love your little turtle statue, too. Wish I had one like it.

I think those pebbles/rocks are too big for your turtle to eat for right now, but as he/she grows you will want to take them out. Like SpotsMama said, I don't see any heater or filter. Otherwise you have a very pretty and healthy looking turtle from what I see. You also have a very pretty kitty!

Yes, your kitty is a doll. We've got a couple of young grey tabbies that are more fun than a barrel of monkies.

Okay, sorry I was writing the last message while you re-posted. I think I see the heater cord. What kind of filter do you have in there? (And I love the ferns in the background!)

Get a zoo med floting dock and rasie the water level. If your on a budget get a cheap filter and heater. Anything is better then nothing. And read about the turtle on the home page for more info.

What a sweet baby! Nice big tank too. You are lucky you can have nice plants in there. Sheba would eat them so I can't use them.

And as you pointed out, rocks make a great cheap basking area until you save up for something better. I did that for many yrs too (rocks as a basking area).

Your baby is going to be very happy once you fill up that tank.
