My how they've grown. I still think of them as little hatchlings! But I guess now you'd call them teenagers!

Thanks Pizza! Grey Goose, are you shocked when you look at your little ones sometimes? They just look so big to me now!

Yes! I don't notice it day to day, but sometimes when I'm feeding them, or I pick them up to check the shell, it's like, "WOW, you've grown!"

there are benefits of course. I am looking very forward to taking them outside this summer. I am considering an outdoor pond, but I wouldn't leave them in over night. Racoons are way too smart, and there are lots around here.

Sooo cute! Love the duckweed. :)

Unfortunately the duckweed you sent me is all gone.....I think my hungry little muncher ate it all.

I know! Mine have decided they really like to eat plants now. They used to just nibble them, now they seem to be grazing constantly! They have nearly polished off 2 cups of Duckweed in the past month, an the poor Anacharis is in so many pieces, it looks as if it shed it's leaves. They also keep pulling up the bubble wand, so the tank looks pretty well ravaged by the time I get home. They really are little vandals.
