Scripta- I'd say it was a half and half experience! lol He would enjoy himself thourougly and walk around and check stuff out (not run away- like he used to haha) but as soon as he got to a place where he felt he could get under or around or behind he'd take off like a maniac and I'd have to grab him real quick or block him and as you can see from the last picture he was never too happy about that! =0P I think he got to trusting me a bit more though because he knows I have no intentions of hurting him!

Starchick- i love his lil red stripe! someone else and I were wondering on another discussion board how rare or common that is and if it goes away with age? I hope not!!

My guy's got a red stripe down the middle of his head and it hasn't faded at all....yet. He's nearly four years old, so he's got a long way to go yet.

JNZ...., your turtle is exceptionally colorful. I LOVE that carmel colored shell!

my turtles have always had more of a pale orange stripe. I wondered if they might have a little yellow belly slider in their lineage.

I've noticed recently a lot more people talking about the red forehead stripe so I'm assuming it's about as normal as a stripeless forehead! ;)

SpotsMama- I hope that years from now Leo still has his! I love his colors! But I always hoped he'd keep his shell design- it seems to have faded as the green faded into brown (or caramel ;))! I like that description better then brown! lol :D

industrial_girl- I know you let Sheba out pretty often- how often should I allow Leo out to roam around with him being only 6 months old?
