well here are some pics of larry's very first voyage to that grassy area known as the front yard. he(yes i know he is probably a she, but he was could have been a he for such a long time...) didnt appear to care for it. he tried to make a run for it a few times, but his plot was foiled by his arch-nemesis, the evil bucket! and he also tried to bite my foot. so glad i had decided upon shoes for that adventure... and when i brought him back inside(after a quick swim in the tub) he ate his new pleco...

cute! how big is she?

i want to say she is somewhere between 6 and 7 inches...i have a strange feeling im going to get yelled at for her rapid growth...ive had her less than 2 years and she was hatchling size when when i got her...but she has only grown an inch or so since the last time i posted about her size approximately a year ago. that funny looking area on the left side(facing her) is just a few pieces of grass that stuck to her shell. i think they came from my hand when i tried to stop the escape.
