Crickets are pretty fast. It's hilarious watching my dragons chasing the crickets around their enclosure sometimes, especially when they're young and not as experienced. The older ones are pretty good hunters though. Sometimes they'll crouch low and try to sneak up on the cricket, and then lunge full speed towards it. It's funny if the cricket tries to jump at the last minute. The dragon will be lunging at it with his mouth open and his tongue sticking out (they catch it with their sticky tongue) and then try to follow it as it jumps through the air, their mouth open and their tongue out the whole time. They're actually pretty good at nailing them in mid air too.
