I have seen it before...it was some sort of south American fishing technique or something..I am pretty sure that I read that anyone that has a boat does that...(it was featured on Yahoo! several months ago).

it reminds me of life of brian, at the end where the people's front of judea came in with the suicide squad. stabbing themselves *grooooooooaaaaaaan* that'll show 'em. :)
