This is Franklin. He is currently staying with the vet.

Harriet (and Franklin's if/when he gets better) tank:

Just to say a couple of things:
The vet advised that I not get a heat lamp because the air temp. here in Mexico is super hot already. Never drops below 70. With the heater and the air temp he said that my little ones may over bask.
The tank is really bare mainly because there are not a lot of reptile products here.

Do you have a UVB light atleast? Are you sure the basking area can get into the high 80's, maybe low 90's? If the water doesnt drop more than 75 degree's i'd say it's okay to skip the heater. However the water level is kind of low, if you can order online - order a zoo med dock, they come in small, large, and medium and with one you can easily raise the water level and make your turtle ten time's more happier.

Cute turtle :)

you have very very cute lil babies! :) make sure you give them as much water as possible- RES loooove to swim!! adjust it a little at a time because with them being new they're still trying to adjust to their new environment as it is! and I think i've heard before that you shouldn't use glass rocks because they could chip and harm your turtle! Everyone always suggests "river rocks"!

ex: I know you don't have a tank but this is the amount of water they love (with a ton of room to swim and make sure there's not enough room to escape at the top):

The only downside about filling up a rubbermaid container all the way is that those thing's tend to bow out and can break overtime! I have mine filled all the way, but no support..I'm realy paranoid about the thing so I'm researching on how to support the side's from bowing out.

Instead of this (_) you should get this [_] shape from the rubbermaid container.

I'd say for now you can fill it up half way (once you get a dock, or build one that allow's you to raise the water level), but once you find a way to support the side's, fill the sucker up! :)
