It's so cute to see them go to the logs to bask! They know just what to do!

I second what Spookster said about their escaping. Spot got out of his pond today - it didn't think it was possible. They have so much strength in their arms they can lift their entire bodies straight up.

lol my Serra does that on her basking dock. Can't comprehend what a ramp is hehe.

Actually, I put them up there for the pictures. They have never climbed up there on their own yet. They like to walk the fence like a bunch of inmates. Then they'll either sit in the shade or sit in the sun but always next to the fence.

I haven't seen them even try to climb up the fencing yet, but I only put them out there for 1 or 2 hours at a time and I am always watching them for the most part. The fencing just helps me so I don't have to keep chasing 3 different turtles going off in separate directions all the time.

Well, they are beautiful healthy turtles. But they don't run in a pack do they!
