(Hey Kevin, the flowers are already blooming. Should I just go ahead and "nip it in the bud"?)

The Venus Fly Trap plant coming out of hibernation (notice the Daddy Longleg spider in one of the traps with its legs hanging out?)...

wow that hibiscus flower is beautiful, and i'd love to have venus fly traps... do you feed them or do they live off insects that randomly find their way over there? (i don't know much about them...)

When the plants are outside they manage to catch their own food without any problems. When I bring the VFT and the Sarracenia in during the late fall and winter I don't feed them since they need to wind down before they go into cold storage for the season. Then in spring I bring them back up to the sunroom in spring and wait for them to grow their new foliage again. By the time their mouths start forming, they are ready to go back out on the deck again. :)

The pitcher plants I will feed some tiny crickets occasionally during the cooler weather when I keep them indoors.

Wow, those are awesome! Good thing you don't have a signature listing all your pets....and plants, lol. it would take up a whole page.
