Caramel Red Ear

These exquisite Turtles represent many years of carefully selective breeding techniques. The Caramel Slider is a morph of the commonly bred Red Ear Slider. It is an amazing feat when a breeder is capable of illustrating all desirable traits while leaving out the traits that are not so desirable. The end result is certainly a beautiful Turtle. The Caramel Slider exhibits a range of carapace colorations that vary from a light yellow to beige with each scute being outlined in black. Their skin tones are like nothing that has ever been seen before. It can range from a light shade of pink to almost a lavender hue. They exhibit a certain level of transparency to their skin due to these very light skin pigments. A Caramel Slider’s eyes demonstrate a brilliant shade of blue on the iris and pupils that are a deep shade of red. With out a doubt a Caramel Slider would make any Rare Turtle collection complete.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

For me Id rather get a regular res over that and so many other red eared slider morphs before considering that.

Rio's looks just the same as normals just with a different pattern. You can find them on the corner of the streets easy where they sell normal sliders. the sellers dont know normal from rios lol

Ornate are basically just Big Bend Sliders, or Rio Grande Sliders.

I know not everyone will agree with me, but if $$$ were no object I'd love to have a two headed turtle. Understand, I wouldn't support the idea of breeding specifically for polycephaly, but this trait can't actually be bred for like color morphs and occurs randomly when monozygotic twins fail to separate, so they occasionally spring up from normal breedings. Many large scale breeders will just take advantage of this "freak of nature" and sell it off to the highest bidder, but they need special care or theywill die. If I had the resources I'd love to care for one of these creatures, plus it would just be really COOL to have a two headed turtle (I would also take a 2 headed bearded dragon!)
