Here are some photos of Squirt. He/She is almost about 1.5 inches and I can tell that squirt is going through a growth spurt since she is very pealy :-)

Can't really see that too well here though..

And here is my shy Crush. Also about 1.5 in (a tiny bit bigger then Squirt) Very challenging to take Crush's pictures.. His shell is a lot prettier then what is shown here.. i'll have to sneak up on him better another day!

This picture I thought was funny. You can see one of their heads and then the others body. Looks like a really long turtle :-)

This picture is from from about a month and a half ago (before we got the nice scenic background) and you can kinda tell here how small they really are. That's Crush in the background (trying to escape and squish himself in the corner to get away from the camera). And then there is Squirt who thinks he(she?) is a little model :-)

I can see the growth spurt in the size of the seam. How much are you feeding them?

We feed them about 4 pellets each day and lettuce randomly throughout the week.
We have had them since November 2005 and they have grown a teeny tiny bit. Hopefully they are on track! They seem to be healthy, bask regularly, love to eat, do a lot of swimming..

And what names could be more perfect then Crush and Squirt? hehe Finding Nemo was only one of the cutest movies of all time. Favorite character though was Dori... hilarious. I love giggling like an 8 year old when she makes the whale noises. :-)

lol Dori, yes, and I grew up with a girl named Dori as well that fit the character. Ellen did a fine job in that part...yes she did!

Marisa, (or anyone really), do you think they look like they are growing too fast? I thought 4 pellets a day was pretty good and not over-feeding. Let me know what you think.

The pellets swell so much, as in 5 times their size, I usually put in 4-5 total. Anymore than that seems to go bad.
