Your turtle is very beautiful! What is her name? Are there a lot of RES in Poland?

I don't totally understand the roentgenograph (x-ray?). Is there just one egg inside? How can you tell that there are eggs?

I had to look it up :) roent·gen·og·ra·phy - n. Photography with the use of x-rays.

I could only see one egg as well, but from the nest, it looks like there were a few :)

I have used "roentgenography" because it was word well known for me:P

In Poland we have problem with RES. There is to many of them but more and more irresponsible kepers release their sliders. They insert turtles in rivers and ponds. Sliders are bigger and stronger than our European pond turte (Emys orbicularis). There is posibility that RES in future will be olny turtle in Our country because our turtles are endangered species.

In this X-ray;) is her first egg. In other photos are eggs from other nest some abaut 30 days after first.

RES are one of only two reptiles on the Conservation Science Institute's list of the 100 most serious invasive species. It's a real shame since they are such attractive creatures.

Do your turtles live outside, or did you just let them out to stroll around? Those are the most natural photos I've seen in awhile!
