Serra's growing bigger!!

Serra really is a beautiful turtle and you can tell she's got such a sweet personality!!

You're just as camera happy with your baby as I am! They just make you wanna catch all those cute lil moments though! I'm determined to catch all of them! I'm no photographer or anything though! You take beautiful pictures!

Last night I woke Hercules up from a nap on his basking dock trying to take his picture, and since he was awake I carried him into the living room and sat down with him on my tummy hoping he'd go back to sleep. He peed on me instead. I'd never seen him pee outside the tank before...there was a lot of it.

Leo has peed on me before... i took her out of her tank and she was pretty angry at me for that reason and all of the sudden i had turtle pee trickling down my arm I was like "LEEEEEEOOOOO!!!" She actually looked very pleased with herself!

Napoleon peed on me once, when we were outside and I had been holding him a long time. He cocked his tail to one side and let out a stream then turned his head around and glared at me like 'I'M DONE NOW'. Hercules I think just had to go. Luckily it only got on my shirt, not my skirt or underclothes.

Once when I was holding Serra to the upstairs window and letting her see the world. She was all fascinated and stuff, remaining very still and gazing out upon the houses that lay before her.

Then that's when she peed.

LOL!!! I can totally relate!

Sheba has "her own" towel that I keep near her tank for drying her off before feeding her, as well as for the times when she is sitting on me. Periodically I wash the towel.

The adult turtles have a lot of pee stored up inside the shell so you have to be prepared!!!
