They are in one of those pet tanks for reptiles which has a broader base and lower height.
The discoloured patch is not soft and doesnt stink so i think it should be ok. But its been 5 days and they are not eating the pellets i put in :(. I trying feeders tomorrow.
and ya, that little guy has 2 red dots behind each nostril.

very cute turtles, I like the extra red markings on the one...Ethel has an orangeish stripe down the middle of her head too, but the nose markings are very unique

Do you mean those plastic tanks with colored tops? If so, you're going to need to get them an aquarium and a basking area. You should look on the main site for the equipment a turtle tank needs. Buy the largest tank you can afford to buy and set up at the time so you don't have to upgrade as much in the future.
If you've only had them a few days they may still be too stressed to eat. Keep offering them pellets and they'll eat eventually as long as the water is warm enough and they have a good setup.

yes its like one of those but with a broader base and lower height..will upgrade once they grow bigger.

I live in the tropics so i dont need a heater and their tank is by the window.

Also, putting your tank by the window causes an excess of algae growth.

Not in direct sunlight... No algae growth yet... Taking them out to bask in the garden for awhile everyday.

I have had two babies for ten months. The male had a white patch. He DID get sick for awhile, but I nursed him to health with better food, sulfa dip, and eye drops by ZooMed. Try the sulfa dip as it cannot hurt. Your hatchlings are precious.

Can't see the pictures...If its completely yellow with just red ears then it's probably an albino RES

He's possibly a pastel slider, they are supposed to have more red markings, ie the stripe down his head... but it's also possible he's just light because he's a hatchling.
