i love my pics too, thank yo. here are all fouir. from the bottom up are, Dumbledore, Vloltamort, Crush, Squshie. Crush is always the shy one. never comes out of her shell when out of the water.

the two on the bottom are the same age and both girls, one just grew faster.

Turtlesirens, the turtle on the right looks exactly like shady's shell.

And those turtles are the same age?!
-Shady: 3" RES; 1 year old
-Scooby: 1.5" RES;
-Bubbles: 1" RES
-Tipper: 4 year old Rat Terrier

Holy cow... how did they get to be so big and yet so different in size. Are they owned by the same person? Any clue on how old they are?

Well, accoring to the tag on the bottom of the photo, they are the same age kept by the same owner. I'm not sure if the date is their hatching date or the date that picture was taken.

would they be the same type of turt? ( both RES? ) that is a huge differance. love the shell on the bigger one.

Yes, both are res. Talk about different growth rates. I'm actually wondering is the bigger one is pyramiding, the glare is kinda confusing me. Also the marginal scutes near the bottom bend downward

Yeah I was thinking the same thing TurtleSirens, looks like pyramiding or some sort of problem shedding the scutes.

Yep. The carapace does not look smooth at all. The pleural scutes near the butt overflaps the vertebral scutes, correct me if I'm wrong. I see alot of slopes.

Here is Voltamort again. She just loves to eat from my hand. I love feeding her. She will not eat any pellets next to her until she has about 2-3 from my hand.

Cute pics! I got my RES when it was about the size of a half dollar, one died the other is growing bigger everyday!
