yahoo photos never work for me...!!!!! sigh~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!! i never measure my turtles...maybe i can do dat when next time and will tell ya guys hehehehe..... however, if they are female and male how come i never get EGGSSSSS...NO baby TURTLE.s........ they dont like eachother????/ hmmm....
2 doggies, 4 RES!!! of cos they all my babies... w/o them my life is meaningless....

females will lay eggs whether there is a male present or not. How old are your turtles? Females become sexually mature around 3 years of age. Also, are you providing a nesting area for your turts? This is essential for female turtles. A lack of nesting area can leave a female holding eggs inside and can lead to her death. It isn't natural for her to lay eggs in the water. For more information you can browse other threads, there is a lot of information out there since this is the nesting season.

my olders two are like 5 or 6 years old, arround dat!! i really dont know about that nesting thing!! what should i get like to be a nesting area? hm.... thanks for the information!!!

How sweet! That's a good camera that you have since it shows the (very young) texture of the shells. Looks like you are really enjoying your little buddies! :)

how much u paid for it? i think chinatown got more expensive than before!!! i got the older twos from chinatown too and used to be $5 each and then my friends went to china and bought two too but went to $10 each!!!! now still $5 at Flushing!!!!

Nice-looking turtles and pics! What sizes are they? Some look quite a bit larger than the others. What size tank are they in?

yeah i have two larger turtles and two baby turtles~~!!!! but they live in the different tanks~!!

the turties were $8 each. the little cheap plastic containers (w/ air holes) was $4. and the bootlegged food we bought (we didn't know it was bootlegged when we bought it) was $3. so.....yeah, they didn't come cheap. $23 total. but it was worth it. :D i <3 them!!

23$ is nothing the little lagoon thing or plastic container isnt enough u have 2 get lighting heater tank basking platform etc etc
3 turts 2 eastern painted and 1 RES
