That would be great! I'm thinking of setting mine up like that. What did you use to wire the dock to the locker shelf? I'm going shopping this evening.

I used heavy florist wire. It doesn't rust.

I used florist wire in my tank and it rusted right through in about a month.

Make sure you post a sign and tell the children not to tap on the glass. It'll cause a lot of stress to the turtles with all the faces of the children pressed up against the glass and them banging on the glass. Also, make sure the turtles bask, I know my turtles would never bask if there's people around. Hopefully they'll be able to bask after school is over for the day.

She basks all day. She watches the children and even if they walk right up to her tank she still sits on her basking rock and watches them. I do not allow anyone to tap on the glass, but she is not afraid.

In the pictures, you can see she is basking...that was taking in the middle of the day. :)

Here are some pictures of her basking area. The locker shelf is purple, her old ZooMed dock is attached to the bottom and landscaping stones are on top.

Thanks for the new pics. They give me an exact idea how to put it together. When I finish it, over the next few days, I will post some pics. Thanks again for all the info! :)
