If you look Columbus the RES in the middle is the one that we are having growth problems with. He is even stumping the vet.

Were all three the same size when you got them? I thought maybe the little guy was a more recent addition to your turtle family. I guess if you've been talking to the vet about it he's been tested for parasites. Very odd. He sure is cute though! I still can't get over how lovely that DBT is, one day i will have one!

he is the first one that we got we have had him longer than anyone else.. the vet has him on a liquid calcium right now. He swims around and plays and basks we don't know whats going on.

Maybe he's just a runt? It's funny 'cause in the wild, most of the hatchlings get eaten or die from other causes. Since we're able to keep ones alive that might otherwise have been culled out in the wild, I wouldn't be surprised if occasionally we see some that have issues like stunted growth, or even possible organ or glandular defects preventing them from reaching a normal size. Some of these may also have shortened lives as well. :( I hope that's not the case here, but its something to consider.

We were thinking he was just a dwarf. why not it can happen with people why not turtles.

Looking at your pictures makes me want to get a side neck, or any exotic looking turtle. That Diamond back is pretty, :)

but they all have great setups we have spent a ton on turtle stuff but its all good.
