Also, what do you feed the pleco?
He probably can't live off of algae alone, there's too little of it.

Do I give him lettuce? I'll have to give it to him at night when Serra's asleep so she doesn't hog it all...lol

Also, I read that Plecos need driftwood in their tanks? Last time Serra almost got stuck under it so I took it out...

You can buy sinking algae pellets for the pleco, but I bet he'd eat whatever the other fish leave behind too.

Small amounts of spinach probably wouldn't be bad. You can also get spirulina pellets too. I have also heard that plecos require wood too, but I'm not sure why or how necessary it is.

you can get really cool carnivorous plants including VFT's at this place...
http://www.blackjungle.com

I got a VFT, a sundew and some pitcher plants from there and they're doing really well going on their second year now. The tropical pitcher plants are difficult to grow though.

LOL, nice. My mom got me a bonsai once when I went off to college, and it died but stayed very green, so I didn't realize it was dead until I touched it and all the leaves fell off! I didn't know plants could hibernate!

Now will Serra eat those fish when shes bigger? Id love to get some fish, espcially a Pleco, for my turtles (the babies or the adults) but i dont want the turtles eating them, or worse just taking bites out of them.

haha mybrosteve, ive seen ur turtles nip at drops of water on the outside of their tank let alone something else living in there with em. i think adding any fish to the adult turtles' tank would end in a massacre of biblical proportions.
