Not bad for a tamporary setup. Is Twigg in the photo? I can't find her. Put up some pictures once you get the new tank up and running, i'm sure it's going to be great! I always end up asking for animal stuff for my birthday/xmas presents too.

Aww she's a cutie! They love to "redecorate", it's pointless to try and stop them!

You might be careful with the plant set up that way. She could very easily climb up it and get out of the cage, so unless you have a screen top (clipped on) or something to keep her from getting out, you might want to rearrange a bit.

When you get a UVB light you'll need to either lose the screen or cut a hole in it over the basking area unless the holes in the screen are pretty big, 1/4 inch or more.

Don't just assume they won't be able to get out. I thought the same thing when I got my 55 gallon. But you have to be extremely careful with the water level, because if they can touch the lip of the cage, they can get out.

My turtle got out a couple months ago while i was away, my roomate found him in the kitchen and called me freaking out (she's afraid of him for some dumb reason). I didn't think he could get out, or would want to. I'm assuming he climbed out from his basking platform, i had it about 4 inches from the lip of the tank. He was fine, but it was quite a scare, and if my roomate hadn't been home and found him, who knows what could have happened :? Moral of the story is: turles will suprise you with thier silliness, so better be safe than sorry!
