Wonderfull pictures as always! I used to a have a neighbor a long time ago that raised emu's - ugly things! I've seen way too many white-tailed deer to count! (especially in front of my car at night)

wow, I love the zoo, i've gone at least 12 times so far this year... and you have so many pics i felt like I was visiting the zoo... it's funny that there are white tailed deer at your zoo... where i live (NE Ohio) there are so many it's legal to shoot them without a hunting license...the government/animal control actually exterminates a certain amount of them each year which i think is horrible, i love them.... i heard a news story a couple years ago of a woman who had her toddler playing out in the back yard while an animal control official was shooting into her yard which abutted the valley, killing deer...first of all she didn't want her little kid to see a deer die, second he was shooting near her child... but anywaayyysss... good pics, always love to see your photos

Thank you so much for taking me to the zoo with you! I really felt like I was there!

The animals are wonderful. I especially like the pecarry. We have creatures living wild in west texas that are almost identical called javalinas. The babies are exactly like the grown ones except tiny. They are fascinating when they travel in their family groups and you see all different sizes of javalina, all identical except for size. They are not particularly shy.
