Meet Booger, Bloopa, and Reese.

THE ORIENTAL FIRE-BELLIED TOADS!

My mom and sister had to name two of them. My sister named the biggest Reese, and my Mom named the most smallest Booger.
I named the middle-sized brown toad Bloopa.

They're living in Serra's old 10 gallon, the one I made into a vivarium! I modified it quite a bit to accommodate the three toads.

Their entire setup! * don't worry I just opened the shades to take these pictures, it's closed all the time.

Awesome! I like that setup. It looks like it will be easy to clean the water area too. Your new friends will be very happy!

Beautiful - both setup and toads. You're getting quite a little zoo, aren't you.

lol the only problem now is the lid.

I used plastic wrap to wrap the edges so that way the only waythey can get out is to climb upsidedown on the plastic wrap. I doubt they can do that since they can barely climb the glass. But I put a plastic lid on the opening just in case. One of them climbed on top of the christmas cactus and was dangerously close to the opening.

I'll try and build a better one tomorrow.

lol that's just a myth.

Besides, Fire-bellied toads are actually a type of frog.

That's a great setup Kevin! :D Beautiful frogs! Your mother has a cool sense of humor too...Booger! So did you use the gnat infestation line to get her to let you get them? Also, you can get a screened top for a 10 gallon for like less than $10 I think. Then you can tape some plastic wrap to cover up part of it to keep the humidity and warmth in. They aren't great climbers but I have seen them climb up the corner of the tank before. Also if you can get a picture of their bellies that would be cool too. That's one of their most interesting features. :)

Here's the belly you wanted, David. They're awfully shy abut showing their bellies.

I don't have much live food to feed them so I'm trying to tempt them into freeze-dried mealworms by "fishing". I tie the mealworm up with the string and dangle it in the tank. Reese ate the first two but Bloopa and Boog was that gullible.
