Well, here's Honu.



He loves to bask on his tree stump. (See that wooden turtle painted like a RES? He always knocks it in to the water by slapping it hardcore...LOL)



This is my setup, 25 gallon long tank, trusty Fluval 4 Filter (that's a Whisper 40i in the pic but I couldn't resist upgrading ) , some silk/plastic plants...UVB/UVA coil, 75w ExoTerra Spot Basking Lamp. My basking fixture is rated for 150w tho. When Honu gets older I'll get a stronger bulb.

thanks I have to get more recent pics tho. I've since filled the tank WAY up (I have to cover it at night so they don't get out). The boys are quite a bit bigger now too. I used to weigh them on my weight watchers food scale (in a cool whip container) and now I can't get either of them in there.

definitely fill that tank up. they need more room to swim. fill it to the top. i leave mine open all the time and i have the same dock that you do. they won't get out. my RES is too afraid to jump down from the top of my 55.
