Erm I don't think there's such thing as a Yellow bellied Cooter.

I think you have a half red ear slider and half yellow bellied slider.

beautiful turtles, btw :D

O i was told it was a yellow bellied cooter, but i couldnt find any info on them on the internet, so maybe you guys are right, i didnt no it was a half breed, very interesting. Im gonna spruce up the tank a lil im gonna try to keep it as natural looking as possible, im gonna make some kind of cave with silicone and natural rocks, and add a back round, and some more live plants. BUt thanks for the compliments.

Sooo cute! I sure hope they grow up to be good buddies and dont turn on each other..... (not a good thought, but it could happen) As for now...looks like they are getting along "swimmingly"...lol :)

nice set up . beautiul babies,
just a question, are those rocks safe for the future, there not too small?? so they can be eat them when the turtles grow up ??
hard to define the real size from the pics
besides that, everything looks great, i don't think the real plants will last too long :D

Actually, the rocks are on the small size. You will definitely have to change that out as they get bigger, as for now, it looks like there are some that they could eat.

Those rocks are from my ten gallon so there arent enough for that tank anyway, when i buy new substrate for the tank im going to get some river rock. Something about the size of a golf ball. Those are about the size of marbles, but yes im gonna change them to a bigger size. Yah the plants dont always last long lol. I like the way they look and they like eating them so i will continue to buy em. The keep pulling this one up so that it floats everytime i re-root it they pull it out again i think they like to rest on it when its floating so i just let it float now. Thanks for the feed back on the pics, ill post more when i get a lil farther along with the setup. :)
