ive noticed a lot of people's turtles have different shaped shells, some are higher, some are smooth and low, some have interesting "patterns". so i thought it was be pretty fun to compare our turtles shells to other peoples.

ill start with mine, its pretty high because i found out my mom had been secretly feeding it and not telling me.

heres trooper, lines across her shell are from when she was younger when her tank's water line only came up to half her shell.

I just got some pictures taken.

On another note, I've found out that my mom was feeding the turtle because she thought he was cute begging. I told her not to do that anymore.

on the feeding thing, how many times should i fed my turtles, there both about 4 months old, i usually feed them whenever they beg but not too much.

once a day, the amount that would fit inside their head. After 1 year, every other day. Give them veggies every day too.

what woud be considered a perfect shell? i know mine doesnt have that for sure, haha. if only i found this site one year earlier...
