you had a photo ref right, this is very nicely done. how long, what brushes did you use, did u use a tablet?

it's done from life. i put my laptop on my coffee table n painted what i could see from that view.

in photoshop, i mainly used the default round brush and worked pretty opaquely with some minor tweaking here and there. i definitely painted it pretty loosely just based on color values instead of details. and yes, i used a tablet (a pretty cheap 40$ one) haha.

thanks for all the good feedback! just thot i'd post it up here for all your RES enthusiasts since it had my turtle in it

Wow that's amazing! Do you also paint with traditional paint on canvas too? It looks so lifelike.
