Hey everyone! I've been going a bit camera crazy lately, getting pictures of all of our animals and around our pond, and so I thought I'd share with ya'll. Here's a few pictures of my turtles, and our backyard ponds.

I've got a link to my Flickr page, too, which I've recently started playing with. I've been uploading bunches pictures of our animals, more of the ponds and turtles, and my sister's critters while they're staying with us (oh yeah...camera craaazy!). Enjoy!

And here's my Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/12426720@N03/

Rigby enjoying some of the last natural UVB ray's she'll get this year. It's getting too cool to put her outside now :-(

Shy Wedge still unsure of that great silver thing I keep bringing up to the tank.

And Apolo, just chillin', as usual. And waiting for the lettuce I was holding in my hand.

The second pond.

A damselfly I saw flying around. It let me snap a bunch of pictures and get really close!

I love your ponds! They look so refreshing! Your turtles must really love them. What sort of pumps or filters do you use?

Ooh you have pretty ponds, too! Oh, and that's a dragonfly. Damselflies are very small and delicate and fold up their wings when they land.:D

Thanks everyone! Spotsmama, I honestly can't remember what our pumps are. I think one is called Pondmaster, but we got a different one when we put the second pond in. It's actually a better filter, and come Spring we may get another to replace the on in the first pond. They're both rated 500 gph, and the ponds are 160 gallons.

Tenodera - I thought it was a dragonfly at first, but it just seemed to small for what I usually see around here. I just did a quick search after taking the pictures and must've gotten the two confused. Thanks for clearing that up for me. :)

Rigby looks soooo happy! Isn't it sad when they have to come in? Your Ponds are beautiful. And the picture of the Dragonfly is really outstanding. What kind of camera do you have? That is really a close up. Just beautiful.

Aww, thanks Terryo  :D
Yes, it is sad when the turts have to come inside for winter (and it's only September!). Rigby gets restless in her tank; I guess she loves the room in the pond, but she's gonna have to adjust somehow. Poor girl.
I have a Kodak C340 camera. It's small, but does a real nice job once I remember to use the right setting.

DavidY - I can post a few pictures if you'd like of our critters, or they're all on the flickr page I linked to in my first post. There's pictures of everyone but our fish. And I probably missed a few chickens...oh well.
